Mom
My mom was, quite simply, the whole world to me. Everything else is just white noise at the end of the day. I was her
only child and lived my whole life with her. We shared apartments, laughs, guy trouble, shopping sprees and fashion shows,
concerts, intellectual discussions and our dreams. To say something is now missing is an understatement. I write now just
to hold on to what I had. Mom, I can't wait to see you again, but for now, I'll keep making you proud of me. I love you.

Uncle John
My uncle John was one of the funniest, wittiest, and coolest uncles you could ever have. I got to know him when he moved
to Seattle in 1991 to take care of my grandfather. After my grandpa passed away, he helped me and my mom move into our own
apartment and became a fun companion for both me and mom. Most importantly, he brought me out of my shell and taught me how
to have a sense of humour. I love him and miss him so much!

My aunt Gloria
My aunt Gloria was a very wonderful, smart and creative woman who loved entertainment (I know where I got it from now.lol)
and was there for me after mom passed away. She moved to Seattle around the year 2000 and was a staple of our family activities.
She loved James Spader and her dog and taught me to be tough in spite of it all. I miss her so much.

The back of the photo reads "Pat, Gloria, John - and Ma's Thumb, taken on 79 cents camera - 1962" My mom was 23 years
old.
